BC1221 44 Posted November 21, 2014 My first Daytona courtesy of ish It's been a while since I wore a st19 watch. Forgot how loud they tick. Hehe Now that's a nice piece ...I al ways preferred the 6265 to the 6263........there's just something inherently beautiful about the polished bezel with panda dial.....only thing better is the full gold.........congrats on a nice piece. Thanks! I honestly prefer the panda dial with the acrylic bezel but this was too good of a deal to pass up. It has the tropical dial and the polished bezel. Just wish I knew a way to fade the dial... LHOOQ 0 Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) My first Daytona courtesy of ish I can't tell if it's due to the reddish tinge of your photo, but is that one of the more recent cartel Daytonas with brown registers? Edited November 21, 2014 by LHOOQ

Yes it is... wish they'd figure out how to properly rep the sub dials on these. Hell even on the others - MATTE MATTE MATTE!!! You know how to fix that with your massive skills mate? dave47 6,505 Posted November 21, 2014 PAMSDAY is today, folks!! Sssoooo, for today's P-day observance, this Pam GMT homage I picked up from Jackson a little while ago. Excellent service and product! Love the details on the bezel and dial/face; GMT hand works flawlessly. An excellent watch. dave:

You know how to fix that with your massive skills mate? Hmm... Maybe figure out a way of masking the rest of the dials, then spraying the registers with Krylon? Many years ago, long before this generation of ST-19 Daytonas, Pure Time sold "tropical" 6265s with 7750 movements. The subdials weren't shiny, but the shade of brown was far too light and phony-looking.
Pob 73 Posted November 21, 2014 Still this. Just can't believe they can make nice and solid watch for so little money!

The subdials weren't shiny, but the shade of brown was far too light and phony-looking. I saw that the other day! They still have it listed though who knows if it's still available. But I noticed right away the lack of shine on the sub dials. Unfortunately, the bezel was waaaay to thick - that'd have to go.
