minelive 0 Posted November 4, 2010 I just received the above watch from one of the trusted dealers here and need some advice. The hour chronograph counter is moving at least 10 minutes ahead of time. For example, the hour chronograph counter would already be at the 30 minutes mark when the minute chronograph counter is only at between the 15 - 18 minutes mark. And, the minute chronograph hand also advances 5 seconds earlier. I do understand that this is an A7750 after all and would like to know if this is the norm and whether it should be accepted or not. This is my first A7750 based watch and would certainly appreciate any input available before I jump the gun. Thank you. God Bless. Cheers Clement

spboudart 0 Posted November 4, 2010 When you reset, Does every hand go back to Noon?
KBH 7 Posted November 4, 2010 Looks correct to me. The minute counter (top) has to make 2 revolutions before the hour counter(bottom) points to one. Your chrono has been running for 18 minutes and 23 seconds. And it's normal for the minute counter to change a few seconds before. That's so when the time comes they don't all have to turn over at once.
spboudart 0 Posted November 4, 2010 Just tested on mine and the minute counter switch to the next minute 3 seconds before the second hand reach noon, while the hour counter runs propotionnally to the minutes count. On your pic, it seems that the hour counter is not exactly at the 1/2 h mark, looks normal to me! I'll take a pic of mine when i reach the same timing and I'll post it. (It'll be in about 13min)
minelive 0 Posted November 5, 2010 Yours look good compared to mine which is already at the 1/2 hour mark with 12 minutes to go. Is this the norm for an A7750 and should I accept it? God Bless. Cheers Clement

I understand where you are coming from and yes, all the counter hands rest at 12 o'clock position when reset. Thanks. God Bless. Cheers Clement
spboudart 0 Posted November 5, 2010 It also depend of the angle you're taking the pic... If you were taking it while standing behind the 3 then the hand wouldn't look to be on the 1/2 h marker.
minelive 0 Posted November 6, 2010 I know that all the angles make a difference when taking the pictures. Being spot on, the chronograph hour counter is about 10 minutes earlier. I know . . . that this is a replica with a A7750 and that I should live with it. Right? God Bless.
