Yep I have cleaned her off and used the hard boiled egg and also ammonia techniques a few times. I lightly clean off some of the excess green with a toothbrush and lemon juice to get a very nice patina effect. When RWI comes back up I will have access to my photos again to show the way I did it. As promised: The final result is obtained by letting it sit in the shower room to get steamed for a few weeks A Beonzo journey: It had patina Patina removed by soaking in lemon juice. Dipped in salt water before new patina. Placed into a tub with ammonia, Bottle cap used to keep the watch out of direct contact with the ammonia. Then sealed for about 10 minutes. The result Cleaning it up On the wrist Cleaned lightly with a toothbrush and lemon juice to return it back to a light copper look. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
