Today i received my new Breatling Navitimer world

 

but the watch looks really good but the bracelet looks like ...

 

what would you do ?

You could also change out the clasp if it bothers you, didn't that show on the QC pics?

A Navi on leather is one of the most perfect things ever invented. Ditch the bracelet.

Got my white rep on brown leather and my black gen on ss.

 

You cannot tell they are the same model at a glance.

When I got my Super Avenger rep I had the same feelings. Loved the watch but hated the bracelet (quality). I put it temporarily on brown ebay strap. Then ordered brown rep strap from TD. The deployment clasp quality felt cheap again. Then bought gen bracelet and still loving it.

Now I have a gen NT World with gen bracelet and gen black strap

Can anyone spot any differences between these two versions? Are they the same?

My usual TD can only source from the latter. I gather the bp factory makes the best rep, but he is uncertain of which factory it comes from, so has instead asked what are the tells to look out for ?

Thanks Kenny - I couldn't see any differences between them, but wanted to second opinion!

 

Don't have any Breitling reps but this will definitely be the first - I'm leaning towards getting a blue one, but the white one looks equally great...

Hi Tobias,

 

I have received my version of the same watch from exactly the same dealer (trusty) and it has the same problem as yours. It looks more or less identical. I have emailed him to vent my frustration.

 

The disappointing thing is that the QC pics did not show a shot of the clasp from the angles where the problem becomes evident.

 

I will also be uploading some pictures shortly.

 

As you clasp seems to be angled like mine, are you also experiencing extreme stiffness when opening or closing it?

 

The head of the watch is indeed impressive but the bracelet and clasp in particular are a big disappointment.

 

This is not my first rep from this dealer and have never had this problem before.

Get a dremel and polish the shit out of it. Did it to mine and helped a lot.

Yes. Visually this bracelet is spot on.

I'm with kennycoder,Visually from a distance the bracelet is spot on but closer of course you can see the Breitling logo on the clasp which shows through on the rear side of the flip lock,this is a dead giveaway that the bracelet is a rep,i have several Breitling rep bracelets some not so bad and one so bad the clasp has the breitling logo stamped so hard not only does it show on the reverse side of the flip lock but its also distorted it which really looks twisted big time in sunlight,most annoying

varying quality on all reps is to be expected at these prices,but a bit of quality control in the factories would help on some of these discrepencies but that's probably asking too much

Geniune leather strap is always the Choice .

Get a Nero Strap or An Alfa Strap , They're good .
