snabooz 0 Posted November 12, 2010 My Superlume Panerei Homage with a Asian Unitas 6497 runs really fast now, advances about 15 min in an hour. I got it 3 weeks ago and it kept exellent time until it stopped running, although it must have had sufficient power reserve. I wound it up, had to shake it and from then on it races into the future... This is already a replacement of a malfunctioning watch I got from Tat, Getat Watch. He's a serious dealer and I know I could send it back to him, but I don't want to wait another 2-3 months. Anybody here in Europe who could repair it for me? sconehead 5 Posted November 12, 2010 It sounds like it may be a gummed up/tangled hairspring or even magnetized. Brightlight repairs stuff, is in the UK and on this board. Shoot him a pm...
KBH 7 Posted November 12, 2010 I'll bet tangled hairspring after shaking it too hard. If you have a magnifying glass or loupe, look closely at the hairspring and see if it looks tangled.
