Trio of Egis and Manual Conversion of 47mm Sub Preview

Recommended Posts

toomanywatches

My Egi madness is coming to an end, just finished the final addition to my Egi trio, this one with seconds subdial at 9. Among projects in pipeline, working on a conversion of Auto 47mm Submersible to a manual Submersible/6154 hybrid...at this stage, I am ready to drill out existing crown tube for replacement with manual Brevet crown/tube. Will have to shift placement of crown tube towards front with Staybrite solder filling of deficit created by previous auto crown tube.

Further modified CG of my "beater black dialed CG" so it is now flat without any beveling:

Manual Submersible/6154 Hybid so far, with a lot more work ahead:

DSN Egis?

Yes, DSN Egis... and the Sub/6154 hybrid uses a 47mm Jackson Tse Automatic Submersible.
