smduplan 0 Posted November 16, 2010 I bought a rep pam 88 or 118 (http://houseofsouvenirs.com/panerai/gmt/panerai_118.htm) and decided to open the back of it because it sounded like something was coming loose. Got it to spin off with some tape and found that the movement looked very cheap (couldn't tell you anything about it). I realized that the center screw that holds on the spinning winding rotor was loose and what rattling about to come off. I think it tighten it down but in the process of looking around i broke the shaft from the knob that changes the time, date, etc. my question is can i get a new part or do i need to change the movement? how can i id the cheap one i have now? any info would help. i love the look of the pam, just got it and already having problems with this rep. the deployment buckle broke within the first week as well. http://picsorlinks.com/view/pic/id/59863 thanks scott
KBH 7 Posted November 16, 2010 You just had to take it apart, didn't you. You've got a problem since it's GMT movement. I have no idea where to get a stem for that one. Maybe someone else has an idea. But, a picture of the movement may help out.
