dave47 6,485 Posted January 25, 2015 Saturday see the introduction of a newly arrived watch -- Fossil Wakefield Chronograph, quartz, black & white on silicone strap. I was very much inspired by one of RWI's mates who show cased his -- a three-subdialed version. (Perhaps it was Del; I don't recall). Watch is large (45mm x 12mm) and is very comfortable on the wrist; problem is, I'm not certain if I'm going to keep it or return it to the eBay seller. The reason: the chrono has a VERY different operating system from regular chronos -- viz. the large, central seconds hand on this one is in constant motion, while the subdials are the actual chronograph. (Traditional chronos are the opposite -- large central seconds hand remains static until activated by the pusher.) I'm not certain if I like this new design, as the constantly moving central seconds hand is annoying & subdials are a little difficult to see as a result.
