greg_r 81 Posted February 25, 2009 I came across this place some time ago - they sell an interesting range of low-priced gens (including quite a few Russian models - notably the Vostok range) along with various spares, tools, straps etc. The site isn't anything like as well-presented as Werners Flying Watches, but still worth a visit. There's at least two watches that have taken my fancy - the Vostok Red Square in particular: http://www.rltwatches.co.uk/

greg_r 81 Posted February 25, 2009 just checking.... It's certainly different. I wouldn't want to try and walk through Heathrow airport wearing that, though....

greg_r 81 Posted February 25, 2009 its only £30 quite tempted bit small at 39mm Bloody hell - that IS cheap. TBH I hadn't actually spotted that one on the site - was too busy looking at some of the others... The Red Square I posted earlier is more expensive, but still only £169, which looks like damned good value, too. Has a touch of the Flying B about it (which is still one of the few Breits I really like, but I'm not prepared to pay over $500 for a rep).
iabounty 8 Posted February 25, 2009 I have been wanting a Russian like JohnG has for his avatar for quite some time but have been to lazy to follow through in my investigation of said watch........ @ oscarmadfish. I always knew you were an advocate or supporter of the Communist Manifesto. Is your surname Marx or Engels? :P
AllergyDoc 40 Posted February 26, 2009 Here's a deal. A $30K Rolex for just under $20K. http://www.swiss-wrist.com/index.php?vars=...ts/32/1819/info No wonder the SS models are so popular. Who can afford white gold?
