rusty peters 0 Posted January 23, 2015 OK, I am done bitching about my brushed vs polished mess. As Abraham Lincoln once said, "When life hands you lemons, don't cry and send them back to China." I think that was the quote. I am keeping the watch and it is growing on me. Never had a polished watch before and I am stunned by the bling. Check out the rubber strap. It is the one I got from Aliexpress for $20. It is a direct fit, doesn't smell and it a bit stiffer than the smelly one that came with it. It is glossier, harder and isn't "sticky" rubber like the original one. I will see how it wears and ages over time. Power reserve seems good and accuracy seems good. I love these Blackbirds. Sizing is perfect and they wear very well. I like the understated nature of them.....well, for a polished Breitling. I need to find a 1:1 CZ encrusted cane now.
