AllergyDoc 40 Posted February 25, 2009 I'm wearing this Daytona today: It was misbehaving last Fall, frequently stopping at random times throughout the day. I'd finally had it with it and emailed Josh for suggestions, not expecting him to take it back for repair because I bought it last April and, well, it's a seconds-at-six Daytona. I was pleasantly surprised when he said send it back and he would repair it! (Shouldn't have been surprised, though. His service has always been second to none.) It runs great, so far. It winds easily, something it wouldn't do before. Hopefully whatever his watchman did will have it running reliably for at least a year or two. (He even returned it via EMS, not snail-mail.) iabounty 8 Posted February 25, 2009 That's impressive. I doubt anyone could find better service in the Rep-world. (And maybe even some places in he gen-world) *I have never bought anything from Josh* He's not cheap. He does sell quality merchandise at a fair price, offers fast EMS shipping and of course as this thread describes great after the sale service if needed. Glad you got to wear your Daytona again Doc. Looks good on ya.

RolexAddict 1 Posted February 26, 2009 AD, did you put a "micro scratch" or a mark somewhere on the watch to control if it the same who was sent back ??? o.k, this is a arrogant reaction from myself, Because, in fact, who cares ? only the result is important, I have to admit the great Josh Service, as usual Your Dayto had a dead main spring,
AllergyDoc 40 Posted February 26, 2009 Hmmm... I didn't think to mark it before I shipped it. I don't know what he did with it or if it's even the same watch, but like you pointed out, results are what matters. Would a dead main spring make the watch difficult if not impossible to manually wind? The gold seconds-at-9 Daytona shakes when I wind it as if two parts are stuck together. sconehead 5 Posted February 27, 2009 AD and KinCaidk are both Dave123 and I claim my five reps from Josh! Dave is AD and AD is Dave! We are separate but one with Josh. We are the Trinity. A Ménage à trois I think the phrase is Doc... Josh's service and support is very good, he sent me a replacement dial for my first ever rep, no questions asked. You pay more from him though and I'm sure a lot of the other dealers will now match his aftersales but with cheaper prices, still a good result though, good to hear this kind of thing Doc...
