Can't decide between Tag Calibre 16 Link or Carrera day date

I'm going to purchase a white-faced Tag to add to my collection but I can't decide between;

 

TAGHeuer Carrera Calibre 16 day/date

OR

TAGHeuer Link Calibre 16

 

Visually, I like both equally. Having looked at dozens of members' reviews I'm swayed more towards the Link, as it appears to resemble the gen pretty damn well.

 

I was wondering if any Tag lovers out there had either (or both) and could give me their 2 cents.

I have a TAGHeuer Carrera Calibre 16 day/date. A beautiful piece. Just that sometime the date is not flipping.

Guess i need to have it check.

With the quality, both Link & Carrera have very high quality and are accurate to gen. I used to have both, wore the Carrera a bit more though cos it was a bit more "sporty" and went well with my clothes. I guess you have to take in to account what you normally wear every day as well, as Carrera is suitable for both Suits & Jeans but Link is probably not going well with more casual clothes?

 

Either way you gonna go with, you wont be disappointed as they are both excellent reps!
