Very nice, I've also got a v7. Never been a AP-fan, but the SS Diver is so sweet!

hello my friends !

i think it's a must for the member of forum to write their opinion when they receive the watch.

This time, i decide to gp for 2 divers. AP V7 from JF and AP noob ceramic with A3120 plate movement.

Here is the story:

  • Contact the dealer about the availability of the items on 18 january. responded immediately in matter of minutes.
  • payment made on 19 january.
  • payment picked up on 20 january
  • QC received on 21 january. have a bit of uncertainty with QC but eventually all cleared.
  • tracking code received on 23 of january.
  • item arrived on 27 january.

first impression?

my god there are wonderful. the rotating bezel "click" is satisfying. The polished quality is second to none.

Fortunately, my V7 do not have a problem with the DW. so i can say it is ultimate rep.

For the ceramic diver, the construction is solid and the back plate is awesome even though the location of balance wheel is different from gen.

the ceramic is lighter compared to SS. Unfortunately, i have no idea about how close it is to gen.

here is some pics:

Beautiful pics! I've just started my AP collection with a 15400 TF (old batch) Black Dial from Toro. I just saw that there is a JF v2 out for the 15400 also. Might jump for a blue dial one of those, but next up is the AP ROO Diver Ceramic... :)

Love you collection!

Any idea how nice the finishing is on that Ceramic case? I love all the full ceramic ROO's and Divers but I'm always worried the finishing would put me off, and it's hard to tell in photos for that black ceramic.

Not sure if you've ever seen the gen, but does the ceramic look close?

The v7 diver is looking good, along with the rest of collection. Similar to how I want mine to look like.

Contemplating getting a 15400 or v7 Diver now.. but my wrist is only circa 6.5" :unsure2: thus a little worried about how it'll wear.
