Member X 91 Posted November 22, 2010 Is that GMT a bit wokky or is it just me? The Milgauss looks cool - looks similar but different to the ones that Narikaa has listed on here, IIRC
andygt 0 Posted November 22, 2010 Anyone for a GMT stir fry? The milgauss looks nice though and the bracelet looks decent too on both. Anyone know if that milgauss would be any use as a starter for a bond sub?
KBH 7 Posted November 22, 2010 Yeah, it does look a little wokky. I do like the bezel and acrylic insert, though. And it's got a few things that are hard to come by like the ETA small arrow hand and decent dial. The guts of that one on a different case, maybe?
andygt 0 Posted November 22, 2010 All depends on what dial diameter they've used really - I suspect they've had to wokkerise an existing case to fit the smaller dial rather than use a bigger dial and get the rehaut right.
bkwbkw 0 Posted November 22, 2010 Besides the rehaut, this a good move in the right direction. Little arrow, bakelite, stretchy rivet, no "Date" dial, etc. It's a project watch begging to be vintage-ized.
bandityo 0 Posted November 22, 2010 Is puretime a reliable seller though ? D
KBH 7 Posted November 22, 2010 Is puretime a reliable seller though ? D He's been around for a long time and is well known. His service is spotty and his communication often sucks but other than that, he's OK. Not a Trusted Dealer here, though. I'd buy from him if it was something I couldn't get elsewhere. andygt 0 Posted November 22, 2010 Puretime aren't scammers, they're not a dealer on here but are trusted dealer on other sites. All the rest of the dealers will get it eventually too anyway. The GMT hand might be small but its totally wrong otherwise.
