watches201 0 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) Just purchased this beauty from Trusty Time, hopefully everything goes OK. I was having a hard time deciding between the Swiss Movement or the Japanese one as there is a $120 difference. Andrew told me that the case/bracelet is nicer and looks more authentic so I decided to go for the Swiss one. Hopefully he told me the truth and wasn't just a sales tactic. http://www.trusty-wa...oducts_id=10977 Edited February 12, 2015 by watches201
Martijn0007 3 Posted February 12, 2015 The case and bracelet are the same. And Swiss movements are absolutely not worth the extra $. You should have gone for one with a Miyota movement. http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_49&product_id=
Dr. Jimmy 29 Posted February 12, 2015 The 15202 is the "Jumbo", not the 15400 (even though the 15400 is larger). I concur with Martijn0007, the Miyota would have been a better choice.
rawbaws 91 Posted February 12, 2015 Yep. Hate to say it. You made the wrong choice. Big time. Not only is the miyota pretty much bomb proof, you overpaid to the tune of 100%
watches201 0 Posted February 12, 2015 Being new at this and reading about all good reviews TrustyTime(andrew) has I relied on his answer. He told me specifically that the one with the Swiss movement has a nicest bezel and bracelet. That sucks!

watches201 0 Posted February 14, 2015 Doesn't look like it's the same quality.....can even tell by the rotor, it is missing the AP inprint on the bottom one

Gongrats on the new watch tho Yea... Gotta agree with Sol on this one. You already placed the order. The time to be doing your research was before you place the order. Regardless, The AP "Jumbo" is a bangin' rocketship of a watch. You'll love it.

asdfpenguin 0 Posted March 15, 2015 I really believe that the 15400 is worth the extra money for the best version available. All the cheaper ones just have too many tells...wrong indices, hands, screws, date font, etc
d4nn4ts 0 Posted December 31, 2015 Is there any difference between these two watches, other than the price? http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_49&product_id=958 http://www.torobravo2015.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_49&product_id=1386

The 1st is a better version with correct squared date window. But now I think only the white/silver dial is still available. The other is good for the price but Hac wrong date window (rectangular) and some have reported a detach of the rotor from its bearing (easy fix anyway). The one that is very good AND available in all the colors is the JFactory one nowm
