3xrock 0 Posted November 30, 2010 Just wondering if any of you guys know how big the strap is on the Uboat reps, I'm a pretty big guy @ 6'0 and 300lbs. I usually have a hard time finding watches that fit. I was thinking that the uboats may fit larger due to the 50mm watch size. Any input is appreciated. 3xrock 0 Posted November 30, 2010 Big Egi = The 60mm Panerai Pam 341 Egiziano Sweet, I saw Sly with a U Boat, that's what piqued my interest. Hopefully it'll fit me. 60mm, now that's a watch. LOL
Luthier 1 Posted November 30, 2010 You, maybe, 6' and 300 Lbs, but what is your wrist size? :yoda: I'm 6'2" and 195lbs, but my wrist is 8", and I won't buy Big Egi. Too big.

I'm only guessing here but 10" I don't have a tape here right now. As a comparison I have a Casio G Shock that I use for work and I have it on the second last notch to the end. http://www.casio.com/products/Timepiece/G-...uct/DW6900MS-1/
mondeov6 0 Posted November 30, 2010 The strap on most reps I have bought are not of the XL or XXL type. My wrist size is 7,5" and I often end up using one of holes closest to the tip of these straps. The longest "original" straps I have came with my PAM 300's (size 52mm). The long end is 125mm, the short end 75mm and the lug to lug size of the watch is 58mm, making a total length of about 258mm. With a wrist size of 10" even that is to small for you. I have a Parnis U-boat homage (50mm) that came with about the same size of the strap as the PAM, but lug to lug is slightly shorter (55mm). So I think with your wrist size you will have to order an XXL strap. I like the look of the Big Egi but is is too big for me! Luthier could easily get away with a PAM 300, but for some reason he does not like the idea of wearing a "frying pan" on his wrist!
