Akira 0 Posted December 3, 2010 Hi I've read a lot about it here allready, but I'd really like some opinions from the experienced members here. I bought 2 UPO's with Asian Clone ETA from Mary allready. Bothes loose time less than 1 minute in 1 month. I will buy a 3rd one, after I having sold the other two. This one I will keep for sure. Should I go for the Swiss ETA this time? What do you reckon.... Thanks Akira
Luthier 1 Posted December 3, 2010 Akira, I have about equal amount of watches with both movements. I can't see any difference, honestly. Some of clones has few hours more power reserve, that's it.
Del 4,471 Posted December 3, 2010 Apparently some suppliers can't tell the difference between a Swiss or a clone ETA movement (not our Trusted Dealers, of course ) and many Swiss ETAs in reps are second hand anyway. The Asian clone movement is excellent so why pay more for a second hand Swiss, that might not even be a Swiss ? So I've been told anyway.......^_^

One minute a month is two seconds per day - THAT IS VERY VERY GOOD.
