l3wyh 0 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) HI all Im not 100% what the issue is ,if I have cross threaded the crown, or if the tube is fault or stripped on my planet ocean. The issue i have is that I am no longer able to screw the crown shut, the watch seems to work as normal and the hands date etc all adjust correctly. Any Ideas How do I tell whats wrong, Any suggestions are much appreciated Thanks in advance Edited March 19, 2015 by l3wyh
peteins 3 Posted March 19, 2015 take out the crown and stem and then pinch the crown tube, it should last and you can do it over and over again, it gives the thread something to grip on to and lock. otherwise buy a new tube.

Irishcain 0 Posted March 20, 2015 Depends on where it broke off. A pic would help.
flyr 4 Posted March 20, 2015 (edited) Dissolve the broken piece of the stem in the crown with an Alum solution. Apparently heating the solution will speed the process. Good luck! http://www.rwg.bz/bo...indpost&p=46066 Edited March 20, 2015 by flyr
