Show me your...straps!

Looking for some inspiration for my new Tudor Black Bay!

At the moment I have it on the original leather and have the SS bracelet also but that just feels a little tinny compared to the V5 Sub bracelet.

So I'm thinking NATO or a nice tanned leather...

Let me see what you've got!

I think that watch looks fantastic as is. Also, I think the BB bracelet is a tad wider then the sub

Thanks mate

By 'tinny' I meant not as solid and heavy as the Sub bracelet :B): ...not tiny.

Ah, ok. Yes I like the BB as is as far as the gen is concerned. Not sure the strap quality of the rep though as they tend to disappoint. Gen comes with a black NATO as well so that might be worth a try although I don't think that would by my first choice. I would probably go with a vintage leather NATO.

It´s just one shot but that strap You already have seems to do pretty well on the Blackbay.

You can try Martu for some great distressed leather straps she have.

I personally love the bracelet that comes with the BB, ZF has made it really well, its very solid, firm and the brushing is just about right. I reckon its one of the best bracelet a rep can ever have.

Congrats on the arrival of this BB tho :-).

What do you think about the lume on the hour markers? Are yours lumpy?

That tri-colour NATO looks the business.

Brady sailcloth or distressed leather are also very, very good options.

This is one of my very first attempts at strap making. I think I'll change the stitching to black and it will be much better.

Some beautiful straps here guys! OP, IMO, the BB needs to have a set of custom endlinks for mounting a leather strap on it. Again, just my opinion, but it " completes" the watch making the strap seamless with the head. Sorry I can't post a pic of my BB with these custom endlinks as I'm on a portable and for whatever, I can't post pics from Photobucket on it.

Anyway, George Yeo makes them for Rollie & Tudor and sells on eBay. He's very reputable. Check out his sale page and look at the pics. Just select your model Tudor. You'll see what I mean. It's a great $75 investment!

With a thicker strap like this beauty from Phizzy, the endlinks are not really needed - just needed to 'engineer' the clasp a little!

OK, got to a PC and wanted to post a pic of my BB with the custom end links. I think they realyy make for a finished look.

BTW: the strap was made for me by McJules who is a TD strap maker here. It'd buttery soft and just look at that vintage graining, it's beautiful and see how the thread color goes perfectly with the dial print, minute track, hands, and indices
