I never saw any necessity in buying a gen previously because the watches I love tend to have reasonably good copies or homages available. That was until I stumbled upon this. dave47 6,554 Posted March 25, 2015 Tuesday's ride is this stainless steel Alpha Mechanical Chronograph, purchased from Alpha a number of years ago. It's a hand wind mechanical movement with an approximately 42 hours power reserve. It's about as close as I'll get to a Rolex Daytona mechanical/automatic working chronograph.
