dave47 6,553 Posted April 8, 2015 Tuesday sees the appearance of this newly acquired Rolex Yachtmaster II from a mate over on RG. It's bigger than the gen (44mm v. 48mm w/crown); but appearance wise (dial face, case), it's pretty close to the gen -- except for the dial @ six: gen has the seconds dial there; this rep has the date dial. After researching this piece, I discovered it had what Rolex calls a "regatta chronograph" and learned some of the basics of operating it. Quite a complicated movement. Although big (163g weight; 16mm thick), it's a very comfortable watch and will be wearing it again later this week. dave: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
