Wriggles 12 Posted April 12, 2015 Just tell me, is it a replica or not? Which, the watch or the sock?
pfcdre 0 Posted April 12, 2015 Breitling use/ used ETA movements so best bet take it to a watchsmith and have it checked out/ serviced, they will soon tell you if its a rep.
Genius 281 Posted April 12, 2015 Hit it with a hammer, if it is a rep it will smash

kiki8704 0 Posted April 12, 2015 Bring it to an AD and ask them if its a replica or not. Make sure you ask them rudely aswell lol
D_Chico 0 Posted April 12, 2015 I'd put my money on it that is a gen..Breitling has used ETA movements in their watches for many years and that movement is without a doubt a swiss ETA.. Just go to a Breitling dealer and they will authenticate it.. Now if the original owner had it serviced by a non-authtorized watchmaker then there may be some generic replacement parts on it but that doesn't mean it's not a genuine Breitling.. Only authorized dealers are able to obtain genuine Breitling parts from the factory, unless the parts have been obtained second hand.. Hope that helps.. Good luck! D_Chico 0 Posted April 13, 2015 Sweet thx for the replies yall. Don't I need a reciept to bring it to An AD? No you don't.. But depending on the dealer they may charge a small fee to authenticate it for you..most places don't though I know for rolex they charge though because they go through the entire watch to make sure its been serviced with rolex parts and properly done..they also print a slip for you showing what was done so you can have it for warranty reasons or insurance
