djprone 0 Posted December 10, 2010 Hi, i ordered my first rep from mary on 1st december and it was sent on the 2nd. But according to the parcelforce website and ems website it hasn't left china yet. Its not even been through any customs in china yet. Has anyone had this happen to them before? I know things get held up in customs (i've bought things from china before), but i've never had anything like this before. Is it possible ems have misplaced it? here are my tracking details: ems: Timing Site Status 2010-12-02 13:25:00 GUANGZHOU Posting 2010-12-02 16:20:00 GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center 2010-12-03 20:26:00 GUANGZHOU Arrival at Sorting Center 2010-12-03 23:34:00 GUANGZHOU Despatch from Sorting Center parcelforce: Status: Handed Over Parcel tracks Date Time Location Tracking Event 03-12-2010 23:34 Delivery Agent - BEIJING - PTT Forwarded for export 02-12-2010 13:25 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer I guess i'm just looking for some re-assurance that this is normal, just i know a few of you have got your watches in under a week recently. Thanks in advance
KBH 7 Posted December 10, 2010 It's quite common in US that the post office won't be updated. My last package went from what you are seeing to: Arrival at WPB, FL. Out for delivery. But then again, it could be on the wrist of your customs agent.
Aren 27 Posted December 10, 2010 DJ...since you are in the UK, I suggest you ask one of the UK boyz in the shoutbox in case your post gets missed. Posts move quickly here. All the Best, Aren
bt3100 0 Posted December 10, 2010 On my last order from Mary the EMS website still said dispatched 7 days after the parcel shipped. USPS tracking was more accurate. It arrived in 8 days and the EMS website was updated the day after delivery.
KBH 7 Posted December 10, 2010 Don't forget things will slow down for the holidays, plus they are supposedly checking more packages now. I would suggest one Valium each morning with breakfast until delivery.
andygt 0 Posted December 10, 2010 Don't worry the exact same happened with the bags I ordered from Mary - no status update for about ten days then the status updated with 4 entrys and they arrived the same day

noneone 0 Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) Did you get your watch? I am in the same boat waiting for a watch that was dispatched from China via EMS on 06/12/2010. Parcel Force currently says: - 07-12-2010 22:15 Delivery Agent - BEIJING - PTT Forwarded for export 06-12-2010 19:28 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer 7 days now with no update... trailboss99 996 Posted December 14, 2010 Guys, fact: EMS tracking is useless for any purpose other than stressing you out. Sit back, relax and chill. It will get there sooner or later. Col.
noneone 0 Posted December 14, 2010 I was just wondering if the OP got their watch, that's all... As their watch was sent 4 days before mine I could guess how much longer mine will take. Not stressing out, just wondering!
djprone 0 Posted December 14, 2010 I was just wondering if the OP got their watch, that's all... As their watch was sent 4 days before mine I could guess how much longer mine will take. Not stressing out, just wondering! Hi mate, I still haven't received my watch, but as there are a few of us in the same boat i'm sure its just a massive delay due to christmas. My ems or parcelforce tracking hasn't changed from 'forwarded for export' and 'handed over' - they're probably caught up in the same shipment. I'll let you know when mine arrives. djprone 0 Posted December 16, 2010 Wahay, my watch has finally entered the country! Low and behold, my watch now seems to have completely bypassed customs and is now en-route to my address for delivery. Parcelforce / EMS really do need to sort their tracking out - whats the point in paying extra for tracking if they aren't going to update it for weeks?
trailboss99 996 Posted December 16, 2010 That is the way it's always been mate. Tracking is useless out of China and lots of Asia. You pay for the "express" bit, not the tracking bit. Col.
djprone 0 Posted December 16, 2010 Well, my watch has arrived! Its an absolute stunner! I'll post a full review when i'm allowed the watch - its a christmas present from my girlfriend so i'll be itching to wear it for the next week and half, but here is a sneak peak: Breitling for Bentley GT from Mary @ Watch International with a red/brown face, A7750 movement and brown strap (my first rep)

jonnyboy 0 Posted December 21, 2010 If your watch get snatched by customs or a postal worker, whats the procedure then? Does the seller take the risk, or are you supposed to deal with paypal over it?
trailboss99 996 Posted December 21, 2010 Depends on the dealer's Terms Of Service mate. That''s why you should read them. Oh, and you NEVER involve PayPal without an admin's permission. It can make life very hard for a lot of people. Col.
