Love my Christopher Ward strap. Beautiful calf leather.

Each to their own, but I think black aligator. Even better still would be if the strap had curved lug ends to snuggle up against the case. I've recently got a Speedie myself (on ss bracelet) and that's the strap I'll be buying. Also like the double ridged black leather ones suggested above, but aligator would still be my preference. As much as I love a nice rich and worn brown strap, I think they detract from the classic beauty of these timepieces.

When you see these beautiful leather straps on an Omega, it converts your mind from always steel which was my preference in the past. Decisions decisions.....

Hello everyone, just received a handmade 18mm tan leather strap from Steveo. I love it on my gen Speedmaster reduced, my girlfriend doesn't though. What do you think? :)

Not bad at all :) How old is the watch? Diameter?

Thanks :) According to the SN it is from late 90's I believe. The case diameter is 39mm. Not my usual 42mm, but does not wear that small and, well, it's a gen :)
