But since I was new to the site I went for a very very cheap one, in case it wouldnt arrive or simply looked awful irl! Anyways, the watch arrived today, and I have to say Im very satisfied with it. Some minor differences from a 500+USD rep watch. But overall, its an ok watch. What bothers me the most is the white hour and minute hands, I wouldve liked them better black. Usually just pins through the strap fastening it to the lugs (which are welded to the case) - if you have these, watch they don't fall out as they soon work loose. The dial couldve been more creamcolored Numerals has a slight lack of silver outlining Subdials are a bit more sunken in to the dial, but they do have concentric circles Sides around datewheel is silver? And the date numerals are a bit thinner, and wrong font. Caseback engravings are wrong, for the Safari model at least, I think. The strap has 2 rows of white stitching, instead of 1. I do think the clasp is very close to gen. The clasp is polished, instead of brushed. But on a gen, there are no holes on the sides of the clasp. However that's not the point, the main point here is the OP paid a decent price for a watch (if you're not bothered how close to Gen it is) that isn't too bad.. tlick 0 Posted April 14, 2015 since you didn't pay much for it, i wouldn't really care....but its nothing like a gen, a lot of tells, so just don't wear it anywhere you wouldn't want people knowing its fake. the biggest tell to me aside from what every1 pointed out is that there should not be any cuts on the 5 or the 7 only the 11 and 8, and even those cuts look way off. But for what you paid its awesome, nice to wear around the house or while your driving when people can't stop and get a good look at it, just don't wear it to the casino's in las vegas. Stewart 0 Posted April 14, 2015 Outside of the people on rep and gen forums it is unlikely anyone can spot the tells while wearing it, so I think it was a good buy. The high end AP ROO reps are expensive so at least you will get the idea of how the watch feels and wears before dropping alot of cash on the best version. Personally I like the way it looks.
