roie16 0 Posted November 15, 2015 Hey there, This is a review for my younger brother (who apparently is too lazy to post his own review ), He has decided to get his girlfriend a nice lady's watch, after we investigated a little we decided to get the Rolex DateJust automatic. We contacted TORO with the request, and he was quick to reply (as I have read all around this forum), we also had some delay do to our horrible local Mail services, but Toro did try do give us the best support from his end (shipment took more than a month). Toro had also provided us a waterproofing service (50 ATM for an Additional 50 USD) which is also quite nice, as not all TD can or able to provide such a service and well as this watch is going to be worn by a girl (here is my excuse to put a picture of boobs!! ), we are very much afraid for it, we already tried to explain and covered the basic about not to shower with it and how to wind it safely, but you can never know… Some technical specs: Movement on this piece: eta 2671-2 Time keep is within COSC standard Price: 343 USD for the watch + 50 USD for the waterproofing service Down sides: Lume is pure to non-existent, as his girlfriend doesn't find it to be a big deal we decided in the meantime to not re-lume it. The watch stops every night if she doesn't wear it. Up sides: Well here is the Up side: Rolex crown On Buckle Close-up: Rolex engraving on buckle: Crown Close-up: Bracelet close-up: Cyclops , date magnification close-up: Bottom of dial close up: upper dial close up: and lastly, some wrist shots: well, that is all... hope you enjoyed it

rawbaws 91 Posted November 16, 2015 I have to say, that does look overpriced. Thanks for the write up though. Note to self, steer clear of ladies datejusts!
mecko 7 Posted November 16, 2015 i dont wanna bother u, but it is to muchy money for a 26mm datejust. u get better looking models for this price. but if the lady love it, it is okay. Next time ask our community for supports.
bdaniel2 0 Posted November 16, 2015 Thanks you for the review that you did on the watch. my gf is really happy satisfied and happy from that watch and i cant blame her the watch looks better from the pictures. Ive been at the Rolex store and the Rep looks the same as the Gen. Here is another photo of the watch together with my Gen Sub :
northantsrich 1 Posted November 21, 2015 How do you find it compared to the gen? Always liked the look of them (not for me) but the quality always seemed to be lacking
insert-here 0 Posted November 21, 2015 That seems very pricey, I assume it claimed to have a swiss ETA for that price?
