James. 26 Posted March 17, 2015 OK, so I'm buying a Nomos tomorrow because it's Wednesday. However I'm torn between a few models and hopeful after some input from the esteemed RWG membership the fog of confusion will lift from my mind. Orions... great size and very Calatravaesque. The 35mm wears like no watch i've ever tried on, but alas due to the size I suspect would be only limited to being worn under dress shirts. Orion 38 (no datum because I don;t think a date has a place on what will be a dress watch for me) Orion 38 Weiss Tagente 38 (again sans date)
Jooost 0 Posted March 17, 2015 Orion 38. Loving the difference with the blue hands and the golden indices. The Tangente 38 would be my second choice, but the orion 38 just pops a bit more for me.
plankton 1 Posted March 17, 2015 I was looking at these on WUS yesterday. Nice, I'm concerned because of the 38mm and it might wear small as well. When you get this James shoot me some wrist shots, if memory serves me your 7.25? AS you know I'm a huge German watch fan!
Jaymelia 1 Posted March 17, 2015 Id have to go with the tangente, i think the blue hands and the less rounded case/bezel keeps it a bit edgier than the others. probably just my personal taste showing through there
Wriggles 12 Posted March 17, 2015 Tangente because it is instantly Nomos. The Orion as you say is very Calatrava and for that reason has a confused identity for me.
Chavezzito 121 Posted March 17, 2015 Tangente...love the contrast of blue agains white and I also like the case better.
James. 26 Posted March 17, 2015 He says, only half jokingly. Fuckity fuck ok weiss is out. Std orion vs tangente
Jaymelia 1 Posted March 17, 2015 Tangente, understated enough to be a dress watch, but bold enough not to just blend in being "another dress watch"
kiki8704 0 Posted March 17, 2015 You're buying a watch because its a Wednesday?! lol I'm jealous. For me I've always wanted a Tangente but I wouldn't mind the Orion.
boss35 0 Posted March 17, 2015 Tangente definitely, very classy case
Kwt 11 Posted March 17, 2015 I was considering a Tangente but in the 35mm wrist as I hear it wears nicely with small wrist but at the same time doesn't look too small. I need to find a place to try one on. But out of the two options, I think I would go for the Orion 38. I much prefer the lug size and shape compared to the Tangente. Bash64 17 Posted March 17, 2015 Orion 38. But... 38mm, not sure about that. 40mm seems a touch too small for me and your wrists are bigger than mine.
ellistyle1 0 Posted March 18, 2015 How about a Lambda? I don't think you can go wrong with a nomos, but I am still on a nomos high. Tangente though.

Irishcain 0 Posted March 18, 2015 Orion 38. More classical lines and the gold markers are really set off by the white dial.
