Omega Aqua Terra 15,000 Gauss: Photoshoot!

Recommended Posts

Hey Gang

A few pics of my AT Gauss. I've been experimenting with straps and finally settled on black calf with yellow stitching from BOB. His straps are the dog's bollocks for little dough.

I've put in a few pics of the other strap combos that I took a while ago for comparison.

Very nice indeed! Great pics as usual too. :thumbsup2:

Does the movement hack? if so, just wondered why you wouldn't hack it for the pics, especially when the crown is unscrewed in some pics anyway. (Not a criticism btw, just a curious fellow snapper!)

By the look of the decorated movement it is a miyota 8215. Non hacking.

I'm glad this thread was revived because that is a stunning watch. Best pics I've seen of it yet and the strap is definitely perfect. One of my favorite current Omegas.

I'm not sure if you're kidding Tim. Made me chuckle. But incase not, you can get them on eBay here: http://www.ebay.com/usr/bob_watch_bands?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

They're RIOS straps, the straps I've been banging on about for the best part of a year, although these are the faux gator ones and I use the gen gator ones, but the quality is top notch!

I actually wasn't joking. I don't have as much time as I would like to study up on watch accessories. :D

The combo with black/yellow is awesome ! What a beauty of a beast...

That may change my shopping list, at least the sequence of order.

May I please ask you about the quality of crystal/AR coating on it? I am seriously considering getting this watch, at the moment deciding between 15000 gauss and Rolex Milgauss. The AR seems to be a problem with Milgauss but the latest Omega reps seem to have a decent colourless double AR. How about this one?
