EDIT "14790 ST - THIS WATCH IS 14790 ST 36MM. ALTHOUGH I INTENDED TO BUY A 15300ST 39MM. THE TD HAS SENT ME THIS. I HAVE MEASURED IT. REGARDLESS, THE THOUGHTS ON QUALITY OF THE WATCH REMAIN THE SAME WTH A LITTLE HEART ACHE, TO OVERCOME WHICH I WILL NEED ONE MORE WATCH."

I'm enjoying this!! posting about the watches i bought over time with all the help this forum has provided.

This one is from Andrew. Audemars Piguet 15300ST Asian 2824.

Made a transfer around 25 Jan QC in a weeks time and delivered around 3 weeks later. in a month's time the watch was on my wrist.

All I had to do was tighten the strap screws.

I was facing some issues with the aquanaut that i bought with this watch.

http://www.rwg.bz/bo...l=&fromsearch=1

So i took it to the local watch smith and had him service this one.

This morning i wind the watch, before taking the pictures so the crown may look a little off. You may notice that i tightened it in a few pictures.

6.5" wrist size, 39mm is great!

i recently bought a AP 15400 RG which is 41mm and since then i do feel like this is a little smaller. but im wearing it today and it looks perfect.

Are you sure this isn't 36mm?! It looks like a 14790 rather than a 15300 (the 15300 doesn't have the little Arabic numerals outside the indeces) and looking at it in your watchbox in your signature it looks a lot smaller than your aquanaut which I know to be 40mm!!

Think you have a 14790 my friend, great choice though, don't see too many of them! If it's too small for you and you want to sell it then drop me a PM!

Even though I could probably pull off the size of the 15400., I think it is too big for the look. I these should be from 36mm-39mm.

How is the quality compared to the bigger rep brother?

Slightly different to OPs, his didn't have the white outline to the date window (which it should have as the gen 14790 has it)!

Go for it!!!

Black or white (grey, yuck), and as the gen "black" is actually a deep rich blue green colour I'd say go white!! You won't see another one!!!

The bracelet doesn't look anywhere near as well machined and refined as on a decent 15400 rep. Might just be the photos though, or maybe they are meant to be a different style all together.

You are right!! It is small. It is 37mm!! I specifically asked Andrew for a 39mm and he confirmed this was it. and 15300 doesn't have the arabic numerical! I don't want to say this, but I'm disturbed now.

SO i asked the TD. he sent me a 36mm watch. he argued that it was 38mm so i measured and sent him that it was 36mm. he responded that 39mm inclusive of the crown!!

so i measured it with the crown.
