The oldest watch in your collection?

Recommended Posts

Takken

So pretty straight forward, what's the oldest watch in your collection? It could be genuine or replica doesn't matter.

Would you consider to sell or do you look at the "oldies" as a small treasure's in it self's...

Do you still use it or maybe you almost forgotten about it? I don't know, tell us about it.

Mine is a pocket watch from Elgin, its dated around the 1920 I believe. Would be nice with a picture but Iam not home so take my worthless word for it.

I'll play. Birthday present from the year 2000. Had been in a dresser drawer for about 10 years when I joined here. 38mm quartz now with a Hadley Roma oyster. It is bullet-proof and might lose a few seconds a year. Couldn't have been more than $50 or $60 new.

Love the Eterna, great piece.

Thanks. Was my grandads retirement watch after 40 years service at the same company. It's had a light service and works beautifully.....

I inherited this one when my grandfather passed. It's a 1950s Era Longines. I've changed the strap to a lizard strap and wear it every so often. It's never been serviced as far as I know, yet keeps good time.
