TheSociety 0 Posted September 28, 2016 Hey guys, So this just came in - a 5711R from MP Factory sourced through Toro. I bought it used but basically brand new condition. It was originally bought two months ago from Toro so I think it's a relatively new product. There are some interesting notes as I have never heard of MP factory until the seller told me about it. Overall Construction -Great, not quite as good as the excellent build quality of the SW200 but I think its better than BP. Why? Because the bracelet doesn't rattle like my BP V2. Case -Decorated movement plate looks amazing! -Surprisingly the same thickness as my SW200 - I don't have a method of measuring but its definitely thinner than my BP V2 with deco plates and is very similar of the same as my S200 (pics below) Dial -Beautiful dial -Has the reflective quality like the GEN -Not sure on the accuracy of the sizing, etc, but the print on the font is good -Color is accurate -Nice markers and hands, good print on the DW Crystal -Nice and clear, same quality as SW200 and BP V2 Bracelet -My biggest issue lies in the bracelet -The first link is too large -First link lifts up a little from the bracelet depending on your wrist size (my wrist is small so the bracelet drops quickly after the watch head and there is a gap on the bracelet's first center link - it's not terrible and I don't think it's that noticeable but it's there and it shouldn't be there. Gold Plating -Really nice color -Looks accurate when I compared to online photos -Not sure how well it'll hold up but I baby my watches and will update this over time. I have taken photos of it against my 3 other Pateks Rose Gold Patek 5167R (BP V3 with decorated movement) Stainless Patek 5711/1A (BP V2 with decorated movement) Stainless Patek 5711G ( SW200 Factory - supposed to be white gold) Gray Dial MP Factory vs SW200 (same thickness even though the MP Factory 5711R has decorated movement plates Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
_DC_ 218 Posted September 28, 2016 I'd seen pictures of this 5711r before and wasn't blown away but I must say in your pics it does look really nice! Only really issue is the end links but other than that it's a nice looking watch. Also didn't think they'd got the colour of the dial quite right but in these pics it looks spot on! Tempted!
