Greetings. History of this vintage PAM homage?

Hi all,

Newly registered but I was a member of the forum a few years ago. I bought this homage franken PAM watch from someone on here, and unfortunately, it got dropped a couple of years ago. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it.

Who built it? Front glass is broken and the winder doesn't engage. The movement is Bulova. It was a lovely watch once upon a time.

Looks like something that someone over at HomageForum may have built.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay.

It's highly unlikely that anyone will know who built this, there are a ton of guys out that doing this sort of thing.

Some one might know who did that to your watch.... are you looking for revenge?

That weathered caseset looks great imho. A replacement movement from Jacksontse would cost You about USD $40. It´s doable if You invest some time and have some basic tools.for another $50 to $80.

Not too sure but I've built several with that same movement.

Where are you located ?

I'm in the UK but I think it came from the US. I would be keen to get it working. Can I replace the crystal or is the case and crystal a one piece set?

I may remove the movement and see if it'll work.

While you can replace the movement it's a shame to scrap a genuine Swiss movement. Might just need a keyless reset. There is a very nice watch there with a little TLC.
