greg_r 107 Posted June 30, 2017 To post an image to the forum (as with most other fora on the web) you will need to host it somewhere. There are many photo hosting sites around - some free, some not - but the following method is by far the simplest: Visit http://postimages.org (signing up for an account is optional, but recommended) Click "Choose Images" and then select the photo you want to upload. Once your file has uploaded, take a look at the 'Direct Link line and click the button just to the right - this will copy the URL ready for posting. Back in your post on the board, simply paste the link between two tags (or click the image insert button and paste into the subsequent dialog) Job done Thanks to Daffy for making us all aware of this site. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

black263 229 Posted August 11, 2017 Even easier - In your album, hover the cursor over the thumbnail that you want. A couple of icons appear at the top of the thumbnail. The left one is Share. Left click on that and you get a list of urls. Left click on the icon to the far right of the line labelled Hotlink for Forums. It will briefly say Copied. Now paste that into your message on the forum. You will get the url in the message box, and when you submit the post, it changes to the image. No need to add anything else. Apparently, for Chrome and Firefox users, you can get a Photobucket Hotlink Fix extension that fixes all the previously hidden images. I've been trying it and so far so good.
