FilBack 0 Posted July 18, 2012 It just ruins the watch's dial for me. So many great reps I have to discard because of the DW. I really like chronographs, but so many of them have this illness. That's too bad. Seems like there could be an easy fix. Albeit I have to admit I never actually ordered a watch with a sunken DW for fear of hating it, so it might actually be bearable. The two things that bother me the most in the rep world is the sunken DW and the fact that you can't get an IWC Portuguese with sec@6 that won't break in 3 months. I love that watch! Isn't there a movement adequate to fix this DW issue?

Krispee 0 Posted July 19, 2012 i have a Navitimer Speciale with a sunken DW but it honestly doesn`t bother me, if it did i`m not sure there is an easy fix for it anyway, i`ve been told that fixing it is tricky, not to mention pricey..... Kris
FilBack 0 Posted July 20, 2012 Hmmm, i thought this would be a more popular topic. Apparently people arent very bothered by this... Seems weird to me. Maybe I'm just too demanding/perfectionist...
Krispee 0 Posted July 21, 2012 Hmmm, i thought this would be a more popular topic. Apparently people arent very bothered by this... Seems weird to me. Maybe I'm just too demanding/perfectionist... i think it is just how you see things, some want a rep to be as close to the original as possible others, like me, are happy just to own the watch, everyone is different.....
