Rolex Prohunter Milgauss - Green

Ordered from WI. As usual, Mary and Rochest delivered hassle free. Moved through customs fairly quickly. About a week total shipping time via EMS to Canada.

The Milgauss is powered by an Asian 2836 hack second movement. 40mm case diameter and 14mm thick. Screw-down crown. The watch case is polished 316L Stainless with PVD coating. Bracelet is also 316L Stainless with PVD however the interior links are polished and the exterior ones are not. Green tinted sapphire crystal and solid case back. PVD can sometimes be a bit spotty on finish quality. On my sample, there little spot on a mid-link, other than that it's perfect. ROLEXROLEXROLEX rehaut engravings. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite line up with the minute ticks on the dial. I could probably fix it pretty quickly by opening and adjusting the movement position, but I have other more important things to do.

Very easy to size the bracelet. I ended up having to remove one link to get it sized for my 7.25" wrist. Very good lume on mine, hour markers and hands are green with 3, 6 & 9 in blue. No lume on the second hand.

This is my second Rolex rep. The first being the delicious TC LV Sub with gen insert. I'm not a huge fan of Rolex in general, but a few select models really do it for me. This certainly is one of them.

Enjoy the photos!

God freaking awesome! I have a GV Milgauss I got from WI and love it! These look so awesome! Those pics you could be a salesman for it! I think it's going to be a future purchase, but I'm going for a BK DSSD next.

I bought one of these from WI as well. It's very nice, the green crystal does take some getting used to but in the right light it's stunning.

Excellent review, love your pics.

I am very close to purchasing this, but I have one thing holding me back: the PVD coating. Could you please comment on how durable this has been? Do you wear it often, and is the steel underneath starting to show through yet?

Thanks

Milgauss in green keeps the real meaning of the milgauss for what it was build for, better than the orange one!!! Great watch, I like, should be my next order.

How does it wear on the wrist compared to the standard SS Milgauss? I've been eyeing one of these for a while but I'm unsure whether to get one as my thinking is that the PVD will visually reduce its presence on the wrist
