MUSH 0 Posted February 24, 2013 (edited) This gent is a 2nd generation watchsmith in Columbus, OH whose late father was a teacher at The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI). So I drop off my rep Omega PO to get tube and crown replaced (he had went over this watch before and was impressed by the quality). Then I whipped out my new rep PAM 251 with a Gunny leather. He was blown away. He asked me how much I had paid for it, and he was floored. He got out of his drawer an ETA7750 and said this is $400 alone, plus the sapphire crystal is more than the entire rep His next words were "Can you get me one??" Now just picture the vast amount of his historic watches and equipment this man has in his basement that has been passed down from his father, plus all of his collections (including a gen AP, rollies, etc) His basement is a treasure trove for watch fanatics. Needless to say I have one on the way for him. Just thought I would share !! Edited February 24, 2013 by MUSH

watch.aholic 538 Posted February 24, 2013 Yeah, the rep quality is indeed amazing....When I bought my first PAM rep, a 328L.....after I recd. it, I was just in awe.....It'd be nice if the watchsmith agrees to repair reps now since he's already half into it by buying one.....
