LightGeek 25 Posted June 18, 2013 I've never been able to open this watch to confirm if the buttery movement is Swiss or clone. I tried again today because I'm selling it but it claimed the life of the ball :( I'm going to see if some children's vinyl pool patch repair can get me along until I order a replacement. LightGeek 25 Posted June 18, 2013 Hmmm it's close to the seam so a patch might not hold.

Libertatia 0 Posted June 18, 2013 I think you have may have popped the ball with a mix of pushing too hard, therefore making the ball hard, and coming in to contact with the sharpish edged lugs
TRANSPORTER 1 Posted June 19, 2013 Tescos sell a nice sized sticky ball for £2.99, haven't bought one myself yet, I'm a Harry black man myself (duct tape ok)

narikaa 129 Posted June 19, 2013 I could tell you a trick with an engineers rule that gets more torque than a Bergeon tool But then Id have to kill you
Kleen™ 45 Posted June 19, 2013 I crapped out my sticky balls in the exact same way. Used a rubberized (garden) glove as an experiment - works every time and is much easier than the sticky ball. Haven't used anything else since.

gmchris 68 Posted June 23, 2013 Nah! borrow the wife's (tight) pink rubber gloves from under the sink. case and back between heels of each hand, press, twist, put gloves back before she thinks i've either devloped a fetish or may actually wash something (as if ! - well maybe the fetish???)
