Rolex Datejust II gen vs. rep pics BOTH brand new as promised.

This will be interesting, I have a Gen 116334 18k white, blue face, stick coming from my gen guy and one coming from Joshua (I have a bud that wants the rep- I Hope no change of heart). I've always wanted that classic Rolex, we will see how they both do.

From the pics, they look extremely close (can't actually see any real differences with the pics you posted). Do you notice differences when you look at them up close, hadnle them, etc.?

The gen weighs alot more, the gen crystal is clearer, the crown and ROLEX are closer on the gen.

There are some pretty big tells......

 

Thicker crystal, crown, cleaner lines. Crystal clearness, cyclops is much cleaner on gen and the bracelet looks 100x better.

 

So just buy a gen crystal and bracelet and you're pretty much set with this watch.

The rep holds up really well, at least from pictures. Really feeling the fluted bezel as well.

I'm impressed with the rep, that fuc--g gen was expensive. I'm in agreement- rep then buy the bezel, crystal, clasp or bracelet and no one would no the difference.

It'll fool 99.9999999 percent of the world -- at least. The vast majority of the world knows very little about watches. Even those who know something either won't be able to tell the difference or will never get close enough to tell the difference.
