AP noisy rotor

is there any fix that can be done for the AP rotor making to much noise. i move my hand around alot at the desk and i can hear the rotor wizzing away preety loud.

seconds run fine its just a noisy watch, so anything can be done to calm the rotor noise down?

Sometimes it can help to oil the rotor bearing, search for info how to do that right if it is an expensive movement, next step might be to remove the rotor and hand wind it instead

Hi, if You have the Asian 2813, 21j movement the rotor is loud and rotates a lot. Otherwise the tiniest bit of oil/grease applied with a toothpick to the center of the rotor does wonders (but read on this first).

I oiled and sanded down my rotor. Made the world of difference.

I saw a good post on RWI, did it on mine and it did make a nice difference.

I find keeping my arm and wrist in a very rigid and fixed position has worked wonders on mine...

 

I have now been able to adapt my remaining hand to ....drive, hail cabs, write ,type and even toilet duties....

 

Don't you just love reps...
