_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 This just hit Perfect Clones..... http://www.p-cls.com/0189b-p-15898.html Looks nice, should be a little cheaper than the SW200 too DC
_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 Also looks like they sorted out the bracelet issues too...... looks promising! DC
jingo.smile 0 Posted June 29, 2014 Good spot! Did you recognise the three screws on the rotor? Edit: what issue?
_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 The Sw200 has a hole in the side of the first link, gen doesn't, that's been sorted, also the last mid link was always too thick, that's been sorted, and the dial pattern was incorrect, that's been sorted!!!! Emailed Josh already, gotta have this!!!!!! DC
jingo.smile 0 Posted June 29, 2014 Good to know! Thanks! Keep us updated please!
_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 I've ordered, so will do a side by side with the SW200 when it arrives........ just hope the price is reasonable, it's currently saying $888,888,888 which hopefully I won't be paying, lol! DC

_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 Will do, I'm quite excited for this one, it's my favourite watch and I've found myself not wearing it as much recently because the little issues do bug me, so this could re-kindle my passion for the model! DC
gran 198 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) Genuine movement...SW200 is thus more similar.... Edited June 29, 2014 by gran
Kleen™ 45 Posted June 29, 2014 Genuine movement.... I think I have a couple of those lying around in a drawer on the attic somewhere...brb...

_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 I'd say the bridges etc of the Miyota are far more similar to the gen, right down to the linear cotes de geneve on the bridges contrasting with the circular cotes de geneve of the rotor!! DC

Realism 72 Posted June 29, 2014 I don't know... someone buy me one please
Robin195959 2 Posted June 29, 2014 From my limited knowledge the SW200 and the ETA 2824-2 are virtually identical and NEITHER looks like the Patek movement.
_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 Lol, yes the rotor mounting point is obviously less accurate, though the rotor itself is better as my SW200 has a crappy small gold stick on Calatrava cross, whereas it looks like the Miyota has a nice large engraved Calatrava cross........... it's all swings and roundabouts as they say, but overall I think the Miyota looks better! To be fair, given that you can't see the movement when wearing the watch, I'm more excited about the correct end mid links and end outer links without the hole, and FAR more excited about the most important part of a Nautilus, the dial, which is correct to gen FINALLY!!! _DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 Would make a good comparison true Yeah I guess so, I'd guess from the initial photos that it would only be the movement (obviously) and the finish quality that would give it away as a rep now (the holes and end links were an easy tell before) DC
_DC_ 218 Posted June 29, 2014 Would make a good comparison I tell you what, as I'll have both SW200 and Miyota, why don't you send your gen to me and I'll do a comparison DC
