Hey guys, I received the rep Pelagos recently and here are some side-by-side photos with the gen, which one is which?

It is indeed a very good rep for a v1, without the gen next to the KW version, it will be very hard to tell that this is a rep.

it looks like a very good rep, as I'm not sure which is gen. how does the bracelet/feel compare? waiting impatiently for a side by side review

I'm going to say rubber is rep. Crown looks bigger/wider and the other has crown which looks more 'used'. Crown size looks to be only obvious tell from the photos just not knowing the gen well can't be sure which is which but going for rep on rubber

Yes, the one on rubber strap is rep.

 

Surprisingly, the gen came with the darker colored titanium crown compared to the case, which I asked the service centre whether the gen Pelagos I got is damaged. I was assured that it's not so I just kept it as it is.

Few things I can add is that the rep rubber strap is good but thinner than gen, the rep buckles are spot on!

Am i right to say that the increments on the bezel looks slightly thicker on the rep comparing to the gen?

My give away was the he valve and the tell is usually where the spring bar goes through the link to the watch, for some reason that is never finished completely.

pretty spot on IMO. What are your thoughts when you hold the watch in your hand? fairly close to gen? Weight and overall feel? Also, how does the bracelet hold up against the gen?

damn its going to be really tough to tell without the gen as comparison, soch a lovely watch too. too bad the watch is to big for my wrist

I have never had the chance to compare mine with a gen, but boy they are close!
