I'm into frankens, I don't know if you're going to like this one. I called this mod DeepSub and its v1 because I want to do a second version with the new Noob DSSD or whatever it comes out next. Pics by Kenny himself;

Very cool. A DSSD with a no date sub dial. It took me a second to notice it. I like it a lot.

Yep, Kenny did a great job. The pearl mod totally rescues the shitty bezel triangle and the lume job is superb.

What does the "pearl mod" consist of?

What does the "pearl mod" consist of?

Basically it was reluming the pearl because Noob DSSD 6.1 pearl was a crap. I originally planned to do this mod with the new Noob DSSD 7.0. No Pearl mod needed on this version but Toro sent me a totally botched unit back in July. I returned it and then this new version started to go out of stock everywhere. I didn't manage to get any after my money was refunded - minus €50.

Anyways, Kenny relumed pearl, hand set and hour markers with Superluminova BG W6. He did a superb job.

Yep, thanks :) I'm already working on the "DeepSub v2". This time I'm going to use a New Noob 2014 DSSD and a Swiss movement.
