Wiz 0 Posted December 8, 2010 For a few months I've been the proud owner of both gen and rep versions of the Breitling Avenger Seawolf Ti (ref. E17370), so during a rainy afternoon I took the time for a photoshoot. I'm pretty sure a rep vs gen of this same watch has been done before, but if I remember well the gen pics were taken from the internet. Here all the pics have been taken with the same camera, in the same environement. The gen E17370 have been produced from 2003 to 2008. There actually are 3 versions of this watch, all with minor differences. That's why even though I care about small details, I never worried too much about the small differences between my rep and the gen. The first version has been produced from 2003 to 2005, the second one between 2005 and 2006, and the third one from 2006 to 2008. Mine being from 2005, it is either the first of the second version, but so far I haven't been able to tell for sure. The rep is the well known discontinued model, and this particular one has been modded with a gen dial. Face Side (Lugs) Side (Crown) Side (He Valve) Case Back Crown He Valve Pearl Bezel Marker Date Lume Bracelet Clasp Double wrist shot Conclusion As you can see, I haven't been through all the pros and cons. This is a deliberate choice, because when it comes to this particular watch, I feel it's a bit of a non-sense. Sure the rep is different from the gen. If you look carefully, you will see differences in about every pic. But most of these differences are so insignificant they could just be the result of a different version of the watch. Thanks for watching
