LightGeek 25 Posted May 7, 2015 I was looking for the 512 but then I came across the 337. I ended up choosing the 337 because it retained the classic look of the pillow shape, wire lugs, and unique crown. The 512 and variants looked a little too generic. I'll write some more later (ok, probably not). I'll add picture though as it gets more wrist time. My wrist is around 6.2" dia like a pre-teen girl so this Panerai is a lovely fit. I believe that this may displace the Noob best 111 in my collection. The simple pin buckle (engraved with Panerai nicely!) is also a better option for small wrists as compared to the massive pre-v style. If the Luminor Marina style came in this smaller size, I'd go for it too but it looks like the 337 is stealing the show for now. Oh, and I didn't choose the Ti or gold version because they looked a little too gimmicky. This one came as "best" from my favorite TD.... watchinternational. Kcore 0 Posted May 7, 2015 Very nice LG! Looks perfect on your wrist too. Gotta say,,I too like the unique look of the Radio its wire lugs and onion crown. However the two points I find unique, I also find to be a PITA as well. Damn wire lugs have a tendency to come loose and care must be taken as some models have soft threads so care has to be taken when tightening. Blue loc-tite is a must! As for the lovely onion crown, I wear my straps snug and the onion edge is sharp, ouch :(
LightGeek 25 Posted May 7, 2015 Hmmm I better check the wire lugs thanks for the reminder. Onion. Yep I couldn't remember what to call the crown The Milgauss was the only thing I had on hand for that size shot. I haven't even resized or removed the plastic lol.
