RolexAddict 1 Posted January 5, 2011 Herited from an uncle... no comment. If I start to develop it could be hard... I prefer to stay away. that kind of watch is 3000 - 4000 euros maximum here. And its still to much for a simple vintage Sub. Probably 50% fake. Sorry, franken.
SirDomino 0 Posted January 5, 2011 Wow, you could buy over 100 ultra high quality reps for the price of that 1 beat up watch...
ReplicaRocketFish 0 Posted January 6, 2011 sold for 68,000.00 hahaha! Some dude was trying to offer 1500 for it! Imagine finding one of those in your grandpa's sock drawer!??
SirDomino 0 Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) sold for 68,000.00 hahaha! Some dude was trying to offer 1500 for it! Imagine finding one of those in your grandpa's sock drawer!?? So why did it sell for so darn much!? Especially with it being so beat up/worn and needing maintenance/refurbishing. Is this some ultra rare model? EDIT: Just found a comment on the questions area of the watch. " HI This watch is worth far more then $1500,If I were you I would have the band removed to see what the model is. The submariners without the crown guard are very rare and expensive. Your watch maybe all original by looking at the dial and hands. If your hands are genuine they alone are worth $1500. It is a great watch,if you can list the model number you will get more for the watch. Best of luck!!" Edited January 6, 2011 by sirdomino
speedzmaster 0 Posted January 6, 2011 It has a traceable history. That's why it sold for $68K. ...that kind of watch is 3000 - 4000 euros maximum here. Where's that? Never Neverland?

Never Neverland? traceable history my ass. I have a swatch from an uncle also, so traceable. I sell it €150K. Its a gen swatch indeed I live in a big city, not in the bush, or somewhere in a insignifiant suburd, and my watch/life experience is just a little more consistant than the ebay, forums and facebook virtuality
speedzmaster 0 Posted January 6, 2011 Then, you should be selling these 3000 - 4000 euro subs on eBay for $60K each and retiring next year on your yacht.
