Looks to be a little thicker to incorporate the decoration. Wonder how much that will change the position on the wrist.

Angus has it at 11.5mm.... Wonder if that is factual?

Engravings look good. Someone should have it soon at around $330 I'm guessing

Video looks good.

Case back is definitely thicker. Wonder how much could be machines off to reduce the profile if one were so inclined.

DWO alignment @ 8,9 & 10 is a little left justified. Something to check in QC.

Other than that, it looks very good indeed.

Also see that the previous "best Version" is now reduced accordingly.

That sucks as I just paid $428 for a RG one and still don't have the QC pics.

It´s thick as a brick (which is negative, gen 9,8mm the best Myota 10,07mm, the BP one 11mm) and the lower part of the caseset seems "wrong".

High alert on the price of $358, when was the last time a new release was cheaper? And supposedly better on top? Serious doubts on my part, I´ll wait and see.

Others: the position of the golden, dented wheel near the rotor center makes me shiver, bridge-screw on the lower right is not centered and already torn/worn.

The other 2 screws on the bridge don´t inspire confidence either, center of the rotor seems glued on with ? plastic screws?

The engraving on all of the rotor to me is definitely not on the quality level of the Myota best or the BP. I don´t have a good pic of this handy but this is the rotor of my swiss BP and it´s totally different in raisings and depth:

Was looking at this yesterday. Biggest issue for me is the dial, why have they changed this? If you notice the squares stamped in the dial have been extended and manipulated where the seconds markers are printed. Once seen cannot be unseen.

I'm seriously considering the Older TF Miyota.

In terms of price it's V6F so will be at least $100 cheaper in a month or so.

Been looking at the AP's for a while now and seen this thread, but think I'll stay clear of this particular watch.

Toro have a deal on at the moment, here, my only worry is that its a 'New Factory' and not a BP etc, should this concern me? It has the Black DW.

Glad I seen this thread before buying.

Where can we get hold of the chrono version?

They will eventually have to come up with a thinner profile version. The 15400 is meant to be a slim profile under-the-sleeve type of watch. I think all the reps out there right now tend to wear big. Those of you who think a 9.8mm to 10.8mm or 11mm difference isnt anything major are sadly mistaken. It changes the whole look of the watch. It might not make a difference in an offshore since they are already thick, but for a slim watch to be thick is way off. But, then again, thats just my opinion

Where can we get hold of the chrono version?

Toro does the quartz version and Ryan at In-Time (TD on RWI) has the 7750 version. Both versions have their flaws compared to the gen, but the quartz is more accurate with secs @ 6 per the gen as opposed to secs @ 9 on the 7750. The markings on the chrono dials for both versions isn't per the gen and DW colour is wrong on the quartz (unless get white dial) whereas it is correct on the 7750, but for the money I would tend to go with the quartz as it offers more bang for your buck and has the correct secs @ 6.

Not sure how I missed this last month!

The new decorated movement looks amazing. Anyone purchased one of these yet for the real test.

It's the extra thickness of the case I'm not sure about....
