I am getting it on rubber but am also getting the mesh bracelet as well. If it doesn't turn out to be any good I will see what suggestions you guys have here for an after market option. The pics above are of a watch Mary has sourced for another cusomter and not my QC pics - but she can obviously still get the V2 so happy days!

Would it be possible to cut the mesh bracelet? With a plasma cutter?

They be my QC pics... :) Also getting both rubber and mesh... As I have fat wrists got my fingers crossed the mesh will fit... If not, then I'll be hunting out an OEM or rip off, as I personally think it looks much better on mesh than rubber ( they didn't do rubber straps when the originals were produced and I like the retro look)

I'm pretty sure this is your watch Stiltzkin.

Very nice!

I also thought for $30 more why not check out the mesh ...

I guess this is the SOH V2 chrono. Whaddya think - better with or without the extra pushers and functions???

The chrono isn't as accurate a rep as the non-chrono, but it's still a decent watch.

Hmm, I usually like chrono watches, but the plain watch is stunning. The only thing I'm not fond of is the rubber or mesh bands. Are there any other options? I guess a nice blue croc strap or something? Also are there any other SS bracelets that would fit?

The rep is available on leather too, but as far as I'm aware, the gen only comes on rubber or mesh (at least I've never seen it on anything else).

I usually like the chronos also, but the simplicity of the plain dial really lends itself to the "heritage" of the watch.

Here are pics of the one I have coming.

Exactly what I was thinking. I gave my chrono away and have ordered a non-chrono from Lawrence.

I did think the non-chrono V2 was a very accurate rep though - maybe I am missing something.

Incidently Lawrence's site said the mesh bracelet was adjustable. Not what I found - at the tightest adjustment it still would not fit anything less than an 8 inch wrist.

You're missing nowt - it's extremely accurate. It's the chrono model that's not quite there (although it's still good)

Anybody out there know how to adjust the rubber strap on the SOH?

Probably just me but I can't figure it out!
