Bout four fiddy on an AP Montauk Highway w/ custom strap, bought yesterday, dreamt about empty wallets chasing me Pacman style that night. Thats cheap a Montauk! They are like well over 500 everywhere..i've wanted one foreverrrrr Yup, especially with the strap too, which would have been like $180 on its own. I just had to jump on it. m2m or something? Lucky bugger Yup, from COLDI, mod (I think) over at RWI. It's even been serviced! (says the person who sold it to him m2m) I'm beyond excited, should be here Friday. Already drooling over a double AR crystal but honestly, can I justify a total of $~550 into a rep... Really though, I've gotten pretty lucky on m2m. Picked up a shark sub from fatarms, serviced and platinum bezel mod, for $250 I think. Couldn't believe my eyes when it popped up in the sales, always thought I'd have to source the bezel and do it myself. But not spending a lot on new ones now. Only looking a promotions, sales and M2M I'm the same; I'm sending my BB to Kenny too, when I get my Omega 300 back. So, I'm looking to the M2M for good buys. Left Coast Guy 24 Posted May 28, 2015 I'm not much for the franken non-sense with gen parts on a rep, but for the OP's original issue on the AP Lebron, I've generally found the very high end reps to be 100% worth the cost in the quality you get. I've now got a PAM 382, Tudor Pelagos, and Breitling Montbrilliant Datora, all of which were $400+ reps and they are each beautiful reps. Same with the other "new release" watches I have like the Tudor Black Bay and Breitling Avenger. So i would say, if you like it go for it. $800 certainly better than the $30K for the gen.
