I had a recent case of a watch lost on arrival with a TD (who's no longer a TD) and after a prolonged dispute agreed to pay 50% towards a replacement. Thanks for the comment mate. I really appreciate it. I am definitely making the purchase. Dear Bandido, congrats on the purchase, I have recently done the purchase for the LBJ couple of months ago. Got it from PC. To be honest, the only issue you have to hold your breath for on paying this much, is the movement. After extensive research on this useful forum, I realized that the movement is a hit or miss kinda situation. as some had called it a ticking bomb. From previous purchase for another AP, with same movement seconds @12, the seconds were stuttering and it was very obvious when you look at the watch (not pretty at all), still trying to find a way to reach Domi to perhaps help me with this issue (not successful to find his contact). so when I decided to buy the LBJ, I was really really nervous that I will still have issues with the movement, and I was holding my breath the whole time until I received it, and checked it and thankfully, this one wasn't stuttering, and everything was good. My point is, paying this much for the watch doesn't mean that you will receive it without any issues, just a head's up, as when issues come up, you will need to spend a bit more on it to have it resolved, just like what I will be doing with my AP Survivor that I paid $700, and the stuttering situation. :( All in all, wear it in good health.
