plankton 1 Posted May 29, 2015 New, AD watch and what a contact I made with this new dealer. This one came from an AD in WI, USA with my name on the warranty card. For those of you that know me I hate to ever pay retail and I made a contact of WUS that orders enough of these through AD's where he was able to beat the best price on a new one anywhere but also get it in the USA with a US warranty card which makes it a hell of a lot easier to sell once that time comes. The Sub came into the AD on Monday and left on Weds. As you may be aware many of the gens come from India or elsewhere (to me) and it always kind of bothered me that I didn't know how it had been treated or how long the movement had just set idle, hence the reason I did it this way. Thanks to everyone that participated in all my polls, I read every comment and made my decision with lots of thought. I took a few shots, not my best but you all know what this one should look like. Differences rep to gen: extreme weight difference, this one feels like a DSSD laser engravings are crystal clear not spotty LEC is so lite that you really have to hunt for it lume is 10 fold that of my reps and stays the course for a long time Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Genius 281 Posted May 29, 2015 Congrats mate its a beauty, my cousin has the black and gold version. stunning watch but since having a TC i just prefer the older subs. i know what you mean about the weight though don't know if its because its gold or all the solid link gens feel that heavy but definitely a noticeable difference from the 16610.
